Creating a Dazzling and Refined Space

Inspired by the concept of speed, Munige features a curved surface created by changing the steel structure in the corner and adding a wall panel on the left. Tilted panels and LED light strips further enhance the sense of movement and dynamism. The curved walls, adorned with LED light effects, transform the building into a dazzling and refined structure, especially at night.

What sets Munige apart is its extensive use of concrete-like materials throughout the exterior and interior, complemented by black, white, and wood accents. This combination creates a cool and contemporary atmosphere that resonates with the brand's identity.

The centerpiece of Munige is the staircase, which takes on various angled folded shapes resembling a cone. This unique design element not only adds visual interest but also serves as a structural support for the second floor. The staircase seamlessly connects with an extended platform on the ground floor, creating a cohesive and harmonious space.

The realization of Munige involved a combination of hand-painted effects to achieve natural and irregular shapes, the use of LED lights to convey a sense of trendiness, and the incorporation of a curved facade to enhance the overall harmony of the design.

With dimensions of 2352 cm in width, 1175 cm in depth, and 900 cm in height, Munige spans an area of 246 square meters. The project, which began in December 2014 and concluded in February 2015, is located in Kaohsiung city.

The construction of Munige presented several challenges, including coordinating the efforts of the wood, metal, and paint construction teams to execute their first-time technical works within a limited timeframe. Despite these obstacles, the teams successfully brought the designer's vision to life.

Munige was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2016. This prestigious accolade recognizes the outstanding expertise, innovation, and artistic skill demonstrated by the design. Munige's remarkable level of excellence and ability to evoke positive emotions make it a truly remarkable space.
